Paragliding Accuracy Worldcup Sauerland/Germany 2014

PGAWC

Winterberg/Elpe. From the 7th to 9th of June the world's elite in accuracy landing is fighting for the first place at the Paragliding Accuracy World Cup. More than 70 pilots from around the world take part in this year's championship. Here they can earn important points for the finals of the competition.

This is the first time the event will take place on the recently extended location in the Sauerland. The opening of the new Flight Center in the Sauerland will be celebrated during the event. With the new location, Papillon was able to motivate many sponsors for the site.

Matjaž Feraric

The World Cup is also the German championship at the same time. The best three Germans win the German championship. Favourites in this discipline are the 51-year-old Matjaž Feraric and, also from Slovenia, Matjaž Sluga (39). The two lead the world rankings.

Best German is the multiple winner of the Hessian championship and manager of the Papillon Flight Schools Andreas Schubert. Most recently, he just failed the bronze medal at the World Games in Colombia (FAI World Cup).
